Context

We were honored to be selected by the State of California as one of 30+ GenAI innovators—recognized alongside industry leaders like Google, Microsoft, and OpenAI—for our contributions to solving real-world challenges using generative AI.

The Opportunity

In response to Governor Newsom’s executive order on GenAI, California’s Government Operations Agency hosted the first-ever GenAI Innovator Showcase in Sacramento. More than 30 technology providers, including leading firms and emerging AI teams, were invited to present their solutions to critical challenges facing state agencies—from housing and finance to workforce development.

Our Contribution

As a California-based AI agency, MyCustomAI was selected to present three high-impact use cases:

1. Legislative Research & Analysis: An NLP-driven tool to extract, summarize, and validate key insights from legislative documents.
2. Budget Change Proposal Analysis: An AI platform designed to identify trends, recommend shared services, and forecast future needs across proposals.
3. Building Project Progress Tracking: A natural language processing system to parse and evaluate narrative data from housing and infrastructure reports.

Each solution was built on our core philosophy: custom AI models tailored to enhance human decision-making—not replace it.
